Why is picking a wedding dress so hard?

I was suppose to get married a few days ago but due to some unfortunate events we decided to move it back 4 months no big deal. so anyway now i am looking at a winter wedding instead of summer and need a new dress or i will freeze to death ha ha ha. I have been looking at wedding dresses online and i am so sick and tired of seeing these skinny ***** wear these. i mean hello its our day and some of them come on really? if it makes these little twigs look fat i will look like shamoo [spelling?] Im not fat by any means but i have a nice curve like a woman should have. where are dresses for us? anyone else feel like this?
I just want something a little sexy i have a small waist and want to look like i have a small waist i mean and thats hard enough in white. also due to some bad judgement i have large tattoos on my sholders that i would like to cover. at least that should be accomplished easier during winter time. is that too much to ask?????!!!!!!!

by the way any ideas…… i have like a million dresses saved i like but i just dont know. i need some girly advice.
Im not really full figured just hour glass and my waist is 11 inches smaller then my hips/bust which sit at 40 inches. but all these skinny chicks sit at like two inches up and down you know what i mean. i just dont get why they dont show more real women in these dresses since its OUR day. and why do they size them so small. my sister who is also my best friend [i swear to god wears negitive sizes in pants shes so small] even wears like a 10 in wedding dresses. its so depressing.
