Alright, alright. #3 is crossed out.
Well, I don’t see what’s wrong either. But nobody really likes #3. I don’t want to go to my wedding wearing a dress everyone hates. I want to be complimented.

the first and last one. the last one is GORGEOUS!!!! I don’t like the middle three at all.

  2. Rachel says:

The second last one is the only one the even remotley peaked my interest. I honestly just don’t like the ones that are super tight and then flare out at the thigh/knee area/

  3. nova_queen_28 says:

5 just because I felt very restricted in a mermaid style gown so I don’t care for them.

#4 is the prettiest of the mermaid-styled gowns and actually looks not quite as restrictive as the other ones.

When I say restrictive, I felt like my legs were glued together to just below my knees and it was weird to walk in that style.

  4. nums says:

Its a tie between the first and second one

  5. Yara A says:

    i like number 1 and 4 best

  6. Maybaby says:

I only like the first two, i really dont like the last three. The first two are very nice fabric and very pretty!

  7. kmjackman says:

I love the first 2, they are breathtaking!! Awww makes me want to go dress shopping again lol. I have my “one” already, but I love trying them on!

  8. Determinenator says:

I like the last one the best. I personally don’t like the mermaid dresses. I don’t know how brides dance, more-less walk in those things.

    Good Luck!

  9. Just a Thought says:

Love #’s 1 & 2. could do without the rest. But all in all I think you need to try them on and see what fits your body the best and which one you will be most comfortable in throughout your wedding and reception.

  10. Stephanie Y says:

The first and the last were beautiful. I did not care for the middle three. I thought they were a bit over the top. You do not want your dress to take away from your beauty on that day. I would go with the first or third because they are beautiful, but will still allow you to shine.
    Congratulations on your big day!!!

  11. sarahb says:

I liked the first one. But after looking at them all, I think you would really need to try them on to get an honest opinion. They all look like an extra ounce of fat would show.

  12. Jo says:

I really like the last one. Personally, I don’t think a wedding dress should be too tight or sexy and the first couple seemed a bit ‘fashiony’.

  13. Nadia S says:

i love number 5. its very beautiful, and unique!

  14. Soon to be Mrs. M says:

The last one is the only one that made me say “Oh that’s pretty”
I don’t like the other ones. I don’t like the mermaid style. It’s too 90′s for me. My sister went to prom in 90 and her prom dress was mermaid style.

  15. Jay says:

first 2… but uhh I dont dig mermaid style dresses. They are usually not comfortable but g/l im planning my wedding also!

  16. October Bride says:

    Number 1 is it!!!

  17. John P says:

    Number 2 is the best

  18. Fallgal says:

The last one was stunning. The 3rd and 4th were also very pretty.

I think #1 and #2 are going to look very dated in your photographs in just a couple years. The mermaid shape of them is too extreme.

  19. Just Me says:

The last one…all the way. beautiful!

  20. I love my love says:

5 is the only one I would wear because I don’t like that mermaid style. you gotta have a totally flat stomach to wear those dresses and I don’t! the dropped waist is very popular right now so that’s why #5 looks good to me, it’s very classic and elegant. I think if you pick one of the mermaid ones you’ll look back on your photos in a few years and say what was I thinking! you want a very classic dress that stands the test of time.

  21. lalala says:

The last one is my favorite of the five. The only one I didn’t really like was the third one.

  22. marys.momma says:

I think a natural waistline is more attractive than the mermaid torso look. I’m also old-fashioned enough to think that a wedding dress should not be strapless. A scoop neck or V-neck would be nice, with short or long sleeves.

A wedding dress shouldn’t say, “See how sexy that bride is!” Rather, it should say, “She’s making a lifetime commitment to be faithful.”

  23. rosebunnie says:

I really like number four and five

  24. Luv2Answer says:

The last one is very nice. I don’t like the rest at all. Unless you are a size 0 or 2 with no curves and shaped like an ironing board they just won’t be flattering.

  25. Mother M says:

You asked for honest opinion so…here goes:
Along with others, I’m not a huge fan of the extreme mermaid dress style.
    # 1. With the placement of the flower on the rear of that dress, note that everyone’s focus will be on that flower and hence… YOUR rear.
#2. To me, it appears that someone got wild with the hedge trimmers
#3 You already crossed that out…. wise choice
#4. It’s ok…don’t have anything to say bad or good about it
    #5 eh…again… it’s ok

  26. CorpCityGrl says:

My question to you is have you tried any of these dresses on? I ask because there’s a difference between liking a dress in a picture and liking a dress on you.

Personally, I’m not a fan of any of these dresses. If I really had to choose, I’d choose #5. However, these are the type of dresses that one can love in a picture then put it on and find that it’s just not the same–they are actually all hard styles to wear so I suggest trying them on and not limiting yourselves to the styles you’ve posted here.

  27. MercedesW says:

    5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the rest look like crap- im sorry but they do- i just dont like the style of the mermaid dress- somthin about it looks like your body would be gasping for room except the bottom portion of your legs- haha (my visual is cracking me up) its like you duct-taped your upper legs and all you can move is the bottom- barely

but #5 is gorgeous- no doubt!- the oly thing that would be questionable is the pink bow- but its still cute

  28. Lilah says:

    I LOVE the last 3!

    Number 4 is SO beautiful!

I love the lace, and the color and the ruffles around the outside.

But then again number 5 is SO classy and would flatter curves because of the gathered fabric!

Oh, my gracious! I just saw the alternate view of number 6!!!!

    IT’S AMAZING!

The top would be SO flattering because of the gathering fabric, and it would flatter in the fact that it does poof out just a LITTLE!

It is SO classy, and traditional, but modern and sexy all at once!

    It’s definitely my favorite!

I think it would make you feel like a princess!

It’s lovely… but not over the top!

    Wonderful choices!

  29. ;) says:

I liked number 1 the best. There is NOTHING wrong with number 3.

  30. touch by an angel says:

1 why #3 crossed out i don’t see nothing wrong with it

  31. Rosy says:

Actually, I thought #3 was the best.
Number #1 is the also very gorgeous.
