What are good flowers for a winter wedding?

The colors are black and white. [Maybe some silver.]
The date isn’t set yet since I have to find out when my fiance gets leave to come home from his post. So it could either be shortly after Christmas or Jan. 1st or 2nd.

I was thinking white roses, but I dunno.

I’m not great with the whole flower thing so I need some help.

Pictures of bouquets or just flowers that would work would be greatly appreciated too.

Thanks!

I love the sweetness and simplicity of an all baby’s breath bouquet: Easy to find any time of year.

And you really can’t go wrong with white roses:

If you want something a little more sleek and architectural, how about tulips:

    or classic calla lilies:

Have the stems wrapped in black velvet for a lush wintery look.
