My fiancee and i really love the snow and winter as we both grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. So we’re looking for a very private log cabin with a hot tub or jacuzzi preferably in Alaska, Colorado, or Wyoming…somewhere with mountains.

ok so me and my fiance have our hearts set on having a winter wedding outside in the snow. of course were going to keep the ceremony outdoors and as short as possible, and the reception will be indoors with heating and a fireplace and warm food and drinks.
im going to wear a sleeveless dress with thermal wear underneath and opera length gloves and a fur cape. my fiance will wear a tux with thermal wear underneath too. and ill be sure to mention to dress warmly on the invites and our wedding website.
so do you think thiscould work because this is our dream to have a winter wonderland wedding

So I want to have a winter wedding, in December, but some of my friends cannot be in other denominations churches so I can’t use a free church as the venue. Does anyone know what I could do for a free/cheap venue in December in utah?
I don’t want to spend tons of money since I have to figure out food and decor and dress etc. Any ideas?

another wedding question!!! :]

I just started planning my wedding for December 2010 and am having trouble deciding what colors to do! I was thinking

White & Red
White & Silver
White and an icy blue color

What would you suggest out of these? Or, if you think of any others please let me know! My wedding is definately on a budget, so be aware of that! Thanks!

My fiance and I plan to wed next October. We would like to take our honeymoon in late october, early november. We are looking for a place with tons of snow. Preferably a cabin we can rent in a wooded area. Any ideas of places in the U.S. that we can find snow that early in the year, or anybody who can recommend a place? Thanks!

non-traditional winter wedding sites/venues in CA Bay Area?

Does anyone know of any non-traditional indoor wedding sites or venues in the CA Bay Area? Community Centers would work. I’m looking to have my wedding of about 220-250 people, and I’m trying to do it inexpensively. The traditional sites provide the catering, and they are really expensive.

I have seen or read about outdoor summer venues that are non-traditional or less common (such as Mt. Madonna, or some park) but this in December, so it should be indoors.
