What do guys wear to casual spring weddings?

The wedding is at a park, with a Bandshell. It’s going to be middle of May, in MN. I have a couple friends in the wedding party, and I know the couple personally. I’m guessing the younger girls will wear a summer dress, but I have no idea what I should wear. The couple is not very well off, so I’m afraid I’ll show up too dressed up even with a long sleeve shirt and tie. And also, where should I shop for these items? Would dockers be acceptable? Also, I have a nice casual long sleeve shirt that is white with small blue and brown lines. Tie with that and what colored pants? Blue jeans?
I’m sorry, but I have no idea what to wear.
p.s. I’m a college student
p.s.s. After wedding is supper, but I don’t know if there is a dance planned.

Wedding planning – need ideas in MN… also need general advice for weddings!?

We are getting married in the spring of 08′ and we want to get a jump on ideas. We are just starting our planning so we would love any imput we can get. We have a plabe in St paul that we are getting married but we are still looking for a place in MN preferrably in twin cities to have a very large and beautiful elegant reception but still one that is not too pricy. We thought about outdoors but I am not really leaning that direction. Any ideas? also any other helpful tips? What about colors? places to look for dresses in Twin cities? We have family coming in from out of town and we want it to be something that everyone enjoys and remembers… thanks in advance!
