Looking for a wedding reception venue near New Holstein WI… and ideas?

I’m looking for any place within 30 miles of New Holstein WI to host my wedding reception. We’re having just over 200 guests and I would like it to be nice, but not overly expensive. Fond du Lac, Appleton, Sheboygan, Kiel, Chilton, New Holstein, and anywhere in or near those towns will work great!

Any venue ideas for a Waterfall Wedding?

Are there any specific venues anybody can recommend ? My travel agents are honestly having a rough time.lol Something not too touristy & preferably private/reservable.

I’m up for anywhere in the world honestly. I’ve looked at the United States [Oregon, Washington & Hawaii], New Zealand, Australia, Costa Rica, Belize, and places in the Caribbean like St. Lucia and Dominica…. But nothing has screamed at me.

Oh and my fiancé & I aren’t afraid to get wet! :]
It’s just the 2 of us. We have absolutely NO interest in bringing family/friends on our WeddingMoon.

As low cost as possible. I have come across a few but are pretty pricey. So if anyone knows of any that would be great. My fiance is in the Army so we need to get married before febuary to avoid any deployments. I know the weather can be very cold in January it would be nice to have everything indoors. thanks so much

Opening a Grass Field for Wedding Venue?

I am wanting to buy farm land (without the farm) and rent the land out for an outdoor wedding ceremonies. How would I get started in doing this in the state of Missouri?
Weddings are huge in town! I mean, this is what people live for where I am from. Yes, I already own a business where I have wiped out others b/c of my price.

I am just wondering how a venue gets started like this…I have cash. I was just wondering on license and if insurance is needed..

I am looking for a venue that is of course affordable, will fit in with my southern inspired theme, allows alcohol and smoking (for my smoking guests).. Also looking for something that isn’t on a really tight schedule, meaning having to squeeze my wedding between other peoples’ weddings on the same day. That just won’t work for me. I want to have an unforgettable day for myself and my fiance!!

Wedding Recption/Ceremony at the same venue? Tips, Ideas?

Haven’t set a date yet but my fiance and I are looking for somewhere unique and interesting to have our ceremony/reception. Neither of us are religious and we don’t want to do anything outdoors as it will probably be in the fall/it gets cold. I’ve found a really neat venue; it’s a loft in a trendier area with room for 150. It basically seems perfect.

I’m just wondering what the etiquette on having the ceremony and reception at the same venue is? Should hors d’oeuvres be served with cocktails before the ceremony and then dinner/dancing/drinking afterwards? I’ve been to one ceremony like this but it was VERY small and WAY more laid back then I intend my wedding to be (they were older/second marriage). I don’t want a lot of hullabaloo but I do want something unique and special.

Any ideas/tips/hints/experiences to share with me?
Also, is it ok to have people standing during the ceremony itself or is it better to have everyone seated at the tables..?
The loft is kind of an art gallery space– I may inquire as to what rooms they have for rent exactly– if there is a small galleria space for the ceremony. If not, I like the idea of an art gallery. I’ll have to continue looking. Given the season we’re having it in (winter, in Canada, brr), an outdoor reception is not really a great idea.
