    What is a nice inexpensive gift to get for my dad and stepmom for a wedding gift?

    Well my dad and his fiance are getting married this Wednesday and invited me and my boyfriend along to go on the family trip to vegas for vacation/wedding, unfortunately we had to cancel last minute and i feel terrible. What is a nice inexpensive gift i can get them to go along with a Congrats card for when they get back? I would like it to be $25 or less since im extremely tight on money. Any ideas?

    We´re finally putting our wedding announcement in the paper, but how do I word my late Mom and my stepmom?

    My dad’s fiance, Storm wants everybody all done up for the big day. The Problem is anything on my face breaks me out terribly. She buys all this expensive “special” makeup so I won’t break out but it doesn’t work. Should I just wear the makeup and just break out later. I have really clear skin normally and i can’t even wear a lot of different kinds of eyeshadow w/o breaking out. What should I do. She wants this day to be perfect and she let me pick out the bridesmaid dresses( In case you haven’t noticed. I am a bridesmaid.) I really want to help Strom make this day special and I don’t want her to be a bridezilla. Please Help???!!!
    I don’t have acne. I have very clear skin. I just have nothing but baby lotion problem.(If you know what i mean?)

    My dad is getting married to the woman I’ve called my ‘stepmom’ for several years now. What would be an appropriate and lovely gift? My father’s first marriage was an incredibly difficult one. I’ve never seen him happier since he met and fell in love with my stepmom…she’s wonderful to us all. I want something special for them but have no experience with 2nd marriages and what kind of gifts to consider. They have their own house and everything they need. What do you think of a brass doorknocker engraved with their last name now that she’ll be sharing it with him? That’s all I’ve come up with so far. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!

    I was out shopping on Sunday with FH”s stepmom, who has been nothing but kind and supportive, the exact opposite of FMIL. We stopped in a shoe store as a lark and I found my wedding shoes! Word got back to FMIL and she is PISSED. She says I never want to do anything with her, esp wedding stuff, she says I do it all with my mom or “my clan” as she calls my family (and why would I like her after she calls my family that?). Firstly, I don’t like the woman, so no, I want to spend the least amount of time with her as possible, two, I have every right to do wedding stuff with the people that I love and care about and who love me back-FMIL is not one of those and I am not going to include her to boost her ego or make her feel better. Thirdly, who I spend time with is none of FMIL’s business and who I was with when I got the shoes does not concern her.
