i am getting married in aug my fiance was totally willing to spend up to 3000 on the wedding but he came up with the idea to spend less on the wedding so we can take our honeymoon in the Caribbeans so now i need some help i didnt have too much planned for the big wedding but i want it simple but classy and country but not trashy and ideas??
Ok every ones on the food and the officiant the man who is going to marry us isn’t going to cost me anything he is a friend and he is a ordained minister, the food is taken care of we are having it catered my a local bbq house(i got the hook up on that) i need ideas for the wedding decor on how to do it cheaper but still have it nice like. and the reception and i already know not to invite 100 ppl that’s common sense when your not trying to spend a fortune i mainly need help on the decor and ideas on inexpensive but pretty ok thank you

What are some tips to have a quickie wedding on a budget in our situation?

I plan to get married in July. I want to have a destination wedding in about a year (when my husband to be has his green card and is able to travel). But for the July wedding, what are some ways to make it special? We want to keep it small and intimate (maybe 7-8 guests) and have a dinner or party afterwards. I don’t want an elaborate dress.

Also, we live in NYC. Should we go to City Hall or have it in a NYC park (which is almost free with a permit)? What are some of the other things we should be considering? Thanks.
This is a first marriage for us both. I’m 28 and he’s 25. We don’t have any children. I don’t have much family and not many close friends. Thanks.

My other half and I are getting married (yay!!) and we are having the reception at our local village hall. The colour scheme is yellow white with a few touches of black so it’s not too pale, I’ve budgeted for balloons and helium which I’m going to sweet talk someone into doing for me the morning of the wedding but I need some inspiration for cheap but effective decoration for the tables and hall. I doubt I’ll be able to use pins on the walls.
Also, I plan on using white tablecloths with yellow organza table runners, do you think it’s acceptable to us disposable white table cloths? Hiring them is so expensive! We’re hiring crockery and glasses so I’m hoping this with the centrepiece will look ok with a plastic table cloth?

I have a band and iam afraid they wont be able to sing house/dance/techno at my wedding. But they said to give themm a list of songs and they will see what they can do. i am terrible with names and artist . i knoe i like the above type of music to dance to but cant seem to think of any. one or two i have so far are…sweet carolina remix although i dont think thwy can sing a remix. i also found a justin timberlake song that is kinda like house or dance its called the way you are. please help me to think of titles with there artist. thanks

I’m looking for wedding reception venues in or around Janesville, Wisconsin. We have a small budget since my fiance and I are paying for the wedding ourselves, we are even considering having it on a Sunday that way the venue is cheaper. We were trying to find some other options or ideas for the reception. Any tips or ideas are appreciated.

So many other local photographers have package names that suggest that quality is completely tied to expense. They may call their $3500 offering the “Emerald Supreme Package,” but give their cheapest package a name like “Marble” or “Granite” or “Dirt.”
I want my customers to know that they’re all going to be getting the same high quality service, no matter the size and number of pictures they request. I also want the package names to be memorable, and if possible, have something to do with our studio name (Little Fox Photography).

If you have any suggestions, I’d be very grateful.
