I would like to become a wedding and event planner and I am trying to do some networking by volunteering my time with event planning companies in my area. I would like to initially send an email to introduce myself and tell them I would like to volunteer. How do you think I should word it, what info should I include, should I attach a pic, and do you think this is a good idea?? Thanks for your time.
I am 24 and I do not have previous experience.

What would you study in college to become a wedding/party planner and how do you get in the business? Also on average how much do people usually make per party they plan

When I am a bit older I want to become a wedding planner, could someone please tell me what it entails, because I have a general idea, but I need something specific. Also, how do wedding planners get cheaper deals for clients? Thanks.
Kisses,
Posh Totty xx.

I love weddings, I’m interested in every little detail about them. I really think I have what it takes to be a great wedding planner. I recently helped my friend plan her wedding with just 3 months of planning. She honestly wouldn’t have been able to have the wedding she had without me. (she admits it too lol) I know that a lot of the advice is to apprentice a wedding/event planning business already running but the area I live in doesn’t have any. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do?
