year old SD card now says needs formatting?

We have a 16GB SD HC transcend card for our digi camera. We have had it for a year now and have some 800+ pics on there of birthdays, wedding, honeymoon, our move back home, etc… and when i turned the cam on last night it showed the previous pics then flashed to a “memory card requires formatting” Memory card connot be read………. What the hell happened??? when we first got the card we formatted it with same camera, now a year and 800 pics later it says it needs to be formatted? it holds up to 2000 pics so i didt overuse it, please someone help me figure this out and any solution to get pics off card. I already put it in my laptop to retrieve pics and the pics program on my PC also says “needs formatting” HELP

Ok I am getting things together for my wedding (Set for Next year). Got it all covered except for the actual vows. I DON”T WANT TO DO VOWS!!! I am very uncomfortable being lovey dovey and emotional around people it is going to be hard enough not crying in front of my guest but talking about my feelings and emotions is just not my thing. I don’t want to hear how i just need to get over it. My fiance said it is up to me if we do traditional vows or write our own. Does anyone have an idea how to get around saying the vows in front of my guest. i can’t elope only because my family would actually not speak to me again. I eloped with my first hubby and when they found out we were already getting divorced and i made a promise that if i ever got married again i would have my family there. I wont break my promise but now i am freaking about having to get emotional around them. it is my day and i really really don’t want to be emotional around people. so please help

i asked this once earlier but wanted to reword my question to maybe get some more answers from people who are grandparents….or at least someone who has lost a life partner.

ok, we lost my pappaw in may of this year…very quickly too. here and gone within weeks. its been a very hard time for our family. slowly things are getting back to normal but i still dont know what to say to my grandma when she mentions my pappaw. she cries sometimes when he is mentioned but i know shes holding up ok. the thing is….on the 4th of this month (so in 3 days) it is their 50th wedding anniversary. we had a huge party planned for them, but now since my pappaw is gone, obviously we arent doing that now. but should i call her on that day? acknowledge the day? i mean…its a big milestone for them and would be a HUGE deal if he were still here. they made it to 50yrs in my eyes even tho he is no longer with us. idk what to do. im worried if i call her, i will upset her or maybe its not right to say something. but then if i dont call…that doesnt feel right. it seems something should be said. BUT WHAT? i cant say congrats yanno? please someone give me advice.

also if you can….his birthday is coming up on the 10th of this month (which just so happens to be 5 days sooner than my due date with their second great grandbaby///due on the 15th)….what should i do about his bday if my daughter is born on that day? i just know that will be hard for her to deal with. i on the other hand would love that…i guess sorta feel like him letting us know hes still around but idk. anyways, im so hurt inside myself but yet worry that i will hurt my mammaw. i really could use some advice. my mom doesnt know what to do either.
