Our wedding consists of the following: 80 guests, self-catered reception. Venue is paid for. Catering will be done by future MIL. I know of all the regular expenses such as flowers, decorations, invitations, attire, food, favors, etc. What are other smaller things I’m forgetting?

i need some ideas on how to make a classy wedding on a budget of only $500?

i am getting married in aug my fiance was totally willing to spend up to 3000 on the wedding but he came up with the idea to spend less on the wedding so we can take our honeymoon in the Caribbeans so now i need some help i didnt have too much planned for the big wedding but i want it simple but classy and country but not trashy and ideas??
Ok every ones on the food and the officiant the man who is going to marry us isn’t going to cost me anything he is a friend and he is a ordained minister, the food is taken care of we are having it catered my a local bbq house(i got the hook up on that) i need ideas for the wedding decor on how to do it cheaper but still have it nice like. and the reception and i already know not to invite 100 ppl that’s common sense when your not trying to spend a fortune i mainly need help on the decor and ideas on inexpensive but pretty ok thank you

I have a bride who wants to cancel her full service coordination package. She’s pregnant and now wants a rushed super small wedding. She still wants me to make her a bouquet and find a small chapel for her to get married in. But she no longer needs centerpieces and day-of coordination. My problem is that her contract states:

In the event of cancellation, client agrees to pay a percentage of the fees as stated below

Deposit non-refundable

Payments made toward balance non-refundable

50% of total balance if services are cancelled within 90 days of signing this contract.

50% of remaining balance if services are cancelled within 90 days of the wedding.

My problem is its within the 90 days of signing the contract AND 90 days prior to wedding date. Her total fee was 1600, she is paying in monthly payments and has paid 760 far. She either owes $40 or $420! Major difference! Help Quick!!!

My brother died 10 years ago in a car accident. His daughter is now 11 years old. I am going to have her walk down the aisle escorted by her stepfather (whom I highly respect) before the wedding ceremony to light a memory candle for my brother and her father. I would like a song to be playing during this time but I don’t know which one! Please help!!

My husband I I were wed this past May 2011. We have been together for over 4 years and are incredibly in love. We decided to get married in Vegas because we wanted a quick, easy to plan wedding that wouldn’t break the bank. We wed at Treasure Island and it was a nice ceremony.

Anyway, I wasn’t too pleased with my pictures. I wish that I had spent more money on my wedding dress. I wish I had done my hair differently.
My mother in law was a nightmare and upset my entire family while we were on the vacation the day before the wedding. It was stressful.

I had my parents and my siblings attend as well as my sister in law. My husbands mom and her boyfriend came.

We don’t have a lot of friends. My husbands family is divorced and I don’t speak to most of my Dad’s side of the family and my mother’s side lives in England so I don’t even see how we could have had a big wedding anyway.

I mean, the money we spent wasn’t important to us..we have saved money for our own home which means more to us.

We didn’t even have a wedding cake. I feel sad about it. I wish I had done it differently, but I didn’t. I wish I had friends who I could have had be there for me….

I am happy that I did get a few nice pictures that I was able to frame and not be embarrassed to showcase to people.

Anyway, I keep trying to tell myself that a wedding is a day, a marriage is forever. I don’t regret marrying the man of my dreams. I like to say “I didn’t have the wedding of my dreams, but I have the marriage of my dreams” and I really do feel that way.

I feel like it’s kind of romantic since my husband is working out of province and he told me months in advance that he wouldn’t go unless we were married.

What can I do to not feel depressed? We didn’t have a buck and doe I have no one to invite I feel like I’m missing something in my life.

I was planning on buying an expensive gorgeous wedding gown and booking a photoshoot for our 1 year anniversary. I feel like that might make me feel better. Maybe even having a little wedding cake made to celebrate, just the two of us.

Help, I need some inspiration for wedding reception ideas for a wedding on a budget!?

My other half and I are getting married (yay!!) and we are having the reception at our local village hall. The colour scheme is yellow white with a few touches of black so it’s not too pale, I’ve budgeted for balloons and helium which I’m going to sweet talk someone into doing for me the morning of the wedding but I need some inspiration for cheap but effective decoration for the tables and hall. I doubt I’ll be able to use pins on the walls.
Also, I plan on using white tablecloths with yellow organza table runners, do you think it’s acceptable to us disposable white table cloths? Hiring them is so expensive! We’re hiring crockery and glasses so I’m hoping this with the centrepiece will look ok with a plastic table cloth?
