What is appropraite wedding reception music?

So I’m getting married and cant figure out what kind of music to use for the reception. I don’t wanna play old people music that noone can/will dance to. Me and my Fiancee will both be 23 when we get married. can we play what we normally listen to like make it like club music just not as raunchy?
yeah i was gonna use edited versions and i was gonna mike it like some slower songs that everyone can enjoy then some songs thats gives it the party vibe… oh and i def wont do the chicken dance, maqaranna(spell) or any of those other stupid typical wedding songs… sorry the 80′s and 90′s are over those songs need to stay there lol

I’m getting married soon and I have to figure out what songs to play at the reception. I do not want rap, hip hop, or country. I’m trying to keep the music limited to classic songs (At Last by Etta James and When I Fall in Love by Nat King Cole) up until the 70′s (anything Fleetwood Mac, some Queen, etc.). I’m planning on playing some Norah Jones and Jack Johnson but those are the only newer artists I’d like to use. I’ve been looking everywhere for ideas and so far all I have is 22 songs . Please help me!

I have a band and iam afraid they wont be able to sing house/dance/techno at my wedding. But they said to give themm a list of songs and they will see what they can do. i am terrible with names and artist . i knoe i like the above type of music to dance to but cant seem to think of any. one or two i have so far are…sweet carolina remix although i dont think thwy can sing a remix. i also found a justin timberlake song that is kinda like house or dance its called the way you are. please help me to think of titles with there artist. thanks
