How many of you got your wedding dresses early?
Posted by: | CommentsHow early? My wedding is in 2009, though I tried on dresses this weekend and really liked a dress that will be discontinued soon. Should I just go for it?? I really like it!
I dont know if I felt all kinds of fireworks about it, I mean I am plus size, so any dress I try on that fits I am happy with! lol Though this dress flatters me and is very elegant.
Have you been to many Weddings that have ice sculptures?
Posted by: | CommentsThe reason I’m asking is I’m having a castle (My theme is Cinderella) and I’ve never been to a Wedding with one.
I think it adds an elegance. Opinions?

What is “frivolous” to some…isn’t to others!
You day should be done the way that you decide.
Bic–obviously you’re unaware that Cinderella–means it’s a Fairytale themed wedding w/ subtle touches & elegance. It’s all about reflecting class first & foremost to me. ![]()
I find that chocolate fountains are done too often– so I opted for a Candy Buffet instead.
how many flowers should i use for a wedding bouquet?
Posted by: | Commentsmy sisters wedding is in 3weeks. she put me in charge of making all the bouquets for her and the 5 bridesmaids (myself included). about how many flowers is the average amount to use per bouquet? were using yellow and orange roses if that helps.
Have you got married or planned your wedding and had a difference of opinion with your parents? has it been over things like $ or religion? what, what, when, how’s invited etc.? and if so what was the outcome and how would you have done things differently?
I am coming to the conclusion that it’s my way or the highway, in other words i’d rather just not have the wedding if I can’t have what I want and I will resent them anyway, therefore everyone misses out, so it’s a loose loose.
not a bridezilla, so much so that I want to elope and just get married, not all this wedding guff! But my parents think it’s a horrible thing to do and disrespecful to the whole family. I don’t want the traditional wedding therefore I won’t get married so they miss out anyway.
How many people in a wedding party?
Posted by: | CommentsMy fiance and I have each chosen 8 of our friends to be part of our wedding parties. It seems like a lot to me, and we were trying to figure out who to cut, or make something else, and it just doesn’t work. We each have siblings that we want to be part of the wedding, adding more to the parties. Does this seem like too many for a wedding party? How many did you/ are you having in your wedding party?
Also, I have only asked my sister to be my matron of honor, and my fiance has not asked anyone yet, so it isn’t too late to change our minds!
how many bouquets of wedding flowers will i need?
Posted by: | Commentsour wedding is in march, outdoors. i want red roses. my centerpieces will be nice bowls filled with favors. to cut down on floral costs, is it appropriate to only have flowers for me, my 3 bridesmaids, and the mens butinneres? i will have flowers for the alter-arch thing too. do i need any more for a nice wedding?
We booked a room that accommodates 120 people max on the assumption that many relatives from across the country would not be able to attend. Turns out many of them are actually coming, and we’ve run out of space at the reception. How could we have planned this better? Book a larger room to play it safe? But then you’re committing to extra expense that may not be necessary…
