Our wedding consists of the following: 80 guests, self-catered reception. Venue is paid for. Catering will be done by future MIL. I know of all the regular expenses such as flowers, decorations, invitations, attire, food, favors, etc. What are other smaller things I’m forgetting?

Contract help!!!!!! Need help fast!!!?

I have a bride who wants to cancel her full service coordination package. She’s pregnant and now wants a rushed super small wedding. She still wants me to make her a bouquet and find a small chapel for her to get married in. But she no longer needs centerpieces and day-of coordination. My problem is that her contract states:

In the event of cancellation, client agrees to pay a percentage of the fees as stated below

Deposit non-refundable

Payments made toward balance non-refundable

50% of total balance if services are cancelled within 90 days of signing this contract.

50% of remaining balance if services are cancelled within 90 days of the wedding.

My problem is its within the 90 days of signing the contract AND 90 days prior to wedding date. Her total fee was 1600, she is paying in monthly payments and has paid 760 far. She either owes $40 or $420! Major difference! Help Quick!!!

My planned venue for my wedding is a beach club – it is open for private events from 5pm-2am. i just need to pay my deposit then its good to go. The idea is have the ceremony and reception in the same place. Im assuming when they say the beach club is available from 5 then it will be set up and ready to go, but i will check!

Sunset is at approximately 7.15pm, and i believe in Mexico it takes around 20 minutes for the civil ceremony. so would this work

5.30 Guests arrive(we provide transport so we’ll have them all in one place but in case we lose one or two then time for them to arrive!) . do they need refreshments at this point?!
6-6.20ish Civil ceremony
6.30-7.30 some kind of cocktail hour with hors d’oeurves while we take some photos for just under an hour (enough time?)

7.30ish then dinner – either sit down or buffet

8-8.30 music/dancing/continue with open bar for remainder of the night?

12-1am finished.

we were thinking (depending on price to maybe have a very short fireworks display. at which point would we want to do that?

does a cocktail hour normally come after the ceremony but before the dinner? or before the ceremony? I havent been to many weddings before and im a bit confused how to plan this all. Thankyou so much!

Also do i provide taxi information in case they want to leave earlier? the coach will come and go at one specific time -
Well i could get them there a bit earlier and try to have a cocktail/canape reception before the ceremony? would that be better? i could take photos then i guess?

Here in Mexico (im english but i live in mexico) weddings are pretty long…they would find it very strange if the wedding ended early.

Please help!! Wedding and only 5 hours to do it!?

Ok, so I have a total of 5 hrs to have my wedding- ceremony, cocktails, and reception. I was thinking about putting on the invitations that the ceremony will start at 5pm sharp. Then that will take less than 20min… then have ppl mingle and eat appetizers and cocktails while the wedding party takes pictures. Then at about 6pm have everyone head down to the reception room…grand entrance at 6:20ish- dinner at 6:30-cake 7:30 and start dancing at 7:45-8pm… then we gotta end it at about 9:30ish so we have time to clean up. Clean up will be simple as long as I keep to the simple ideas I already have. It is a BBQ style wedding…not many decorations are needed b/c it is at a historic mansion. Do you think this is enough time? How do I tell guests we need to wrap it up at around 9:30pm? I still want to party after… what should I do? Would it be lame if we got married at the court house and had the whole 4.5-5 hours just for the party? SOOO confused and I am open to ANY suggestions!! Thank you!
my sister says the only thing about doing the courthouse wedding is that people are coming to see me get married…. and i did already buy my dress… could i wear it to the party/reception anyway?
and it is buffet style with bbq food…

hiya so yeah i have been invited to a wedding its on saturday so thats like 6 days away. i am nothing big like a bridsmaide or something just a regulary guest , iam going to be there for the day and night so it needs to fit both. i origanlly wanted to wear a dress but well erm (how to put it …) i have a quite busty fighre i am a 32FF and a size 8/10 every where else. sound unperportinate i know -.- so most dresses make me look fat or i have tits hanging out so its not going to work!

now really what i want to know is:
-should any changes be made
- hairstyle( i have medium lenght hair ,growing out layers side part ) i preffer my hair down but will take any suggetstions.

some of these questions may sound daft but i am 15 and havent been to a wedding since i was ten so none of this was really a thing then also all weddings i have been to before i was a bridesmaid so my hair and that was picked for me

Hi I am having a small wedding (20 max) at this pretty courtyard in my town. I want to use peacock feathers in our decor. For example, I plan to have them added to my bouquet, used as my fiance’s boutonniere, on the cupcake tower, and as a hair accessory. How else can I use them? I’d like to incorporate it into a centerpiece if possible, or somewhere on the table.

Also, there are these lush trees in the corner of the courtyard. I want to hang lights from them; I’m looking for something that is a single drop light, not all connected like Christmas lights. The coordinator said a previous couple figured out a way to hang those fake tea lights, but I’m not sure how they’d do that. What I would love to do is have these glass bubble hanging, with lights in some and single feathers in others:
