Bouquets for a Beach Wedding?

My best friend is planning her beach wedding for May 2010 and she doesn’t like Roses. Tulips are my favorite flower, I love them, and when I mentioned that to her when we were talking about flowers for the wedding she said that Tulips are one of her favorites as well. As of right now, she is planning to use Tulips (red and white because those are the colors she is using for the wedding), however, I don’t know if that would look right for a beach wedding. It’s her wedding, so whatever makes her happy is great by me, but she asked my opinion about it and it’s been bothering me ever since. For a beach wedding I think of Lilies, more tropical looking flowers. What kind of flower, that comes in red and white, would you suggest for a beach wedding?
Auntie.Bean… The wedding is in May, so I don’t think it would be a problem to get Tulips, I just don’t think they would look the best for the type of wedding she is having. Anyway, thank you for all your help! : )

i think this is too cute! what do you think about this as my reception centerpieces? i’ve been collecting cans also, so i could use those instead of the clear vases…
we’re having a summer wedding at a boathouse on the river. my colors are black and light pink, but i could throw in another color. i’m not very anal about color schemes!

I have decided i want white lilies and blue (maybe a little white) hydrangeas, i kinda know what i want but i cant really seem to find pictures on-line with those to together, and I’m thinking bout how to make the centerpieces i don’t know that yet, so if you have any nice ideas or pictures id appreciate them, thanks

and sorry for if this doesent sound good, but i don’t wanna know if you like the flowers or not!
i mean you dont have to tell me if you dont like them!
