    I live on the West Coast, but this wedding is in New Jersey. I have an elegant purple strapless gown that would be perfect for the reception, but can I wear that to the wedding? I have a nice pashmina I could throw on.

    Otherwise, all I can think of is to change in between the events…is that weird?

    Can I wear a floral cream and black dress to wedding?

    A picture of the dress is at this web address. I’m really concerned about not offending anyone since the bride is a work colleague of my husband and there will be many of his other colleagues there. I really don’t want to embarrass my husband…….please help.

    I forgot to mention…….the wedding is formal and starts at 5:00pm…..from all the research I’ve done, I could wear some black to a formal evening wedding. I plan to wear simple little diamonds for earrings and my hair down.
    I don’t have an appropriate jacket but I plan to wear a matching cream shawl around my shoulders.
    LATEST UPDATE: The Bride and Groom just changed the dress code on their wedding website from “Formal” to “Formal:Black Tie and Evening Dress”.

    I’m attending a wedding today and I’m wearing a dark purple top with a black skirt and black wedges, I have this purse that’s white and black and I’m just scared to wear it because I know you’re not supposed to wear white to a wedding. Do you think it would be okay?

    Hi guys,

    it would be great if you could help out. I have a champagne colour baby doll dress with a black mesh bow (around bust and waist) that I am going to wear for my friend’s wedding. I am wearing black shows with it, but no idea about the jewellery! I was going to put 2 little black flowers in my hair (I am blond, tanned with green eyes) and put my long hair on one side. I have no idea whether I should wear a gold big jewellery items or silver, or black (to mach the mesh bow). Can I wear a big earings and small necklece? or shall I get rid of the necklece at all? I wanted to wear a bracelet (or ring or both?). I am really rubbish at this and it would be great if you could help! :) thanks !
