need an outdoor venue in london to hire in August?
Posted by: | Commentswe are looking for a venue to hire in August, preferably in South London, but will look at the whole of London as well. We will provide marquees/equipment, ect so just need a space and electricity/generator. Wondering if anyone knows of anywhere or has been to a wedding in a outdoor venue? I have pretty much no leads at the moment so any kind of suggestion would be appriciated.

We are trying to be as cost effective as possible!!! Any ideas for unique favors that I could do myself? DJs that dont charge an arm & a leg? I stil don’t have a dress! Ugh!!! We have 2 children together (5 & 6 months) and we just bought our first home this month! The wedding date is sneaking up on me!

Ideas for an international honeymoon in August?

I’m looking into a honeymoon for my fiancee and I after our wedding this August. We live in Minnesota and are interested in some nice beaches and some scuba diving in a romantic setting. While we typically are pretty adventurous, I think we’d like to stick to something relaxing and safe here. We want to try someplace new so that rules out Cancun and Cozumel. I want to spend about $3000. (does that sound reasonable?)
I’ve been looking a bit at the Dominican Republic and some of those other islands down there, but am a bit nervous that August is around hurricane season. We plan to be gone for about 10 days so we need someplace that has a bit more to do than just lay on the beach. Things we’d like are:
- Romantic
- Scuba Diving
- Snorkling
- Nice weather in August
- Good price
- Great Beach
- All inclusive
- Relaxing
- Near other activites
- Great nature
