    - Try putting some bronzer/blusher under your cheek bones, makes your face look lovely and slim!
    - Bright Red (If it suits you & goes with outfit) or nude lipgloss are both flattering
    - Eye drops if you have them, can help make your eyes look awake > if not use eyelash curlers or white eyeliner on the inner lash line

Hope the photos turn out the way you want x

I suggest you play around with different makeup weeks before the big day, so you’ll know which look you like best.

I’m getting mine professionally done because I am not the best at putting on make-up and I want to look good in my photos, especially since we are paying $2,000 for pictures. I hear that the make-up looks better and stays on longer if you have it professionally done. It’s not that expensive. I have one offer for $40.00 and the other for $90.00. Doing your own make-up is fine too, especially if you are trying to save money.

Remember that professional photography usually washes out features, so make-up is important. Honestly, unless you already have all the tools you may be better off going with getting it done–especially since you don’t really wear much make-up.

    * A good foundation that stays is important. You need to even out your skin tone and a good, blendable cover-up should be used. It creates a flawless canvas. For weddings, I prefer airbrushing foundation because it stays on all day, feels like you’re wearing nothing and gives an incredible flawless finish without looking like anything is on.
    * A good, waterproof mascara. You will need this to be able to last all day and not smudge or smear or start running at the sign of a tear.
    * Eyeliner to define your eyes because the sun and professional photography will wash you out so you need to define your eyes.
    * Eye shadow. This goes hand in hand with eyeliner to give your eyes shape and definition.
    * Blush–you’ll need a pop of color on your cheeks so that you don’t look pale and wan in pictures.
    * Lip color. Find a lip color that has staying power and shine. Nudes are great for everyday but for your wedding day, pick something a little brighter because nudes in pictures will make you look a bit tired and dead–especially against a white dress. If you usually wear a nude color, layer on a pink or rose colored too to add some brightness.
