I absolutly love that theme! A bunch of ideas are running through my head like having old movie posters in nice frames like marilyn monroe. mabey some old cameras on tables, film rolls. you could make pavers with handprints of the bride and groom and have theme sign their name, that would be cute. have a red carpet for the entrance, with the velvet draping enclosures , not sure what they are called, but they keep the crowd out.

lots of mirrors.. table top mirrors over the table cloths… get shag carpets and chaise lounges … hire a photograper to take black and white polaroids of guests (have feather boas, pearls, martini glasses cigarette holders and top hats for them to wear as props) – have the photographer take two pictures, one for them to write a message on for you and one for them to keep.

rent LA Confidential, the great gatsby, etc to get ideas for decorating.. good luck!

Hollywood theme or style? Old Hollywood style would just be what ever era you pick…20′s, 30′s, 40s.

Hollywood theme would be red carpet,
photographers wearing hats with the word “press” in them. Maybe film reels with film strips integrated into the centerpieces. Perhaps little Oscars on the tables.
You can take 40′s style portraits of the bride and groom and decorate the room with them.
Have a bubble machine near the champagne.
Have a band with a band leader.

Have waiters dress as “cigarette” girls to pass appetizers.
