How much does one keg serve?

I’m having a wedding for 300 people. I have no idea who will drink and who will not!?! Most will probably drink. I’m not sure if all 300 will show up! What I need to know is how many will 1 keg serve? What would you recommend buying to be safe?
i think its 1 keg to 80 ppl… i think… that’s what I heard.
I think maybe 2 kegs would be a safer bet, some people may have more than 1 pint.
well according to google calculation 1 keg = 124 pints.
But I’m sure most people are going to have wine at a wedding instead of beer, but maybe have 2 kegs just in case..
2 kegs, minimum. Of course factor in other alcohol, and depending on whether or not you want people absolutely hammered or not!! We used to have small college parties and kill a keg in a night with only a couple dozen people.
There are 141 beers in a keg. Id get at least 2 kegs. I would also have your wedding planner call everyone you invited and get an exact number of heads. I would also buy 2 handles of vodka, rum,wiskey. 10 bottles of red 10 bottles of white wine. And of course juice.
2kegs= $210
6 bottle of liquer: $150
20 bottles of wine: $250

of course this depends on the size of the keg, but if you are talking about the party type ones, it is about 15-20 for two beers each. my best advice would be for you to go to your local beer distributor(where you can get a break on price) and get their
advice. have fun and a designated driver.
I would err on the side of caution and figure1 keg for every 20 people plus 2 or three extra just incase there are people like me that can drink half a keg alone…hehehehe
A keg holds 45 gallons, that is the lrg one. so if you have 300 guests you will need at least 2 kegs or 3 on the safe side.
who ever you buy the keg from can tell you how many people it will serve. I just got married oct 7th and we had one keg for 250 people, wich worked out well because of the # of people who didnt drink beer. Many will purchase drinks at the bar or drink soda or coffee wich should be provided on an unlimited basis. you should also consider if you want to provide so much that you might be the reason people are trashed. when the keg runs out the cheap guests will probably drink less and will be safer for it. you dont want to wake up the next day to find out someone was in an accident or got a dui.

yould it be a safer bet to buy cartons of bottled or canned beer
have you got wine too?
lots of people dont drink alcohol, make sure you have lots of soft drinks too
The volumn of a full keg is 48.8 liter or around 13 gallons. You will not get exactly that since the fill is never 100% and you will not be able to drain the bottom without opening keg itself.
On average, you will get about 80-90,12oz pour out of a keg. How many can that serve? If your guests drink like me, a keg is only good for 6 of us!

do you live in wisconsin?, ’cause then 300 people will down 3 kegs easy, so you probably need 4 maybe 5, besides we can always use the leftover beer to drink and for brats at that sunday’s Packer game where we will bow down and worship Brett Favre for the football god that he is
