How much did your parents pay for your wedding?

I was just wondering how much your parents are helping you pay for your wedding?

My aunt is working 2 jobs right now to pay for my cousins $1,700 dollars wedding dress along with the Dj, drinks, food and location of her wedding. So far my aunt told my mom things has come to a total of $19,500 but the wedding is still about a year away.
My mom and I found this crazy! She said she would help me with my wedding when the time comes ( its coming soon) but she will not work 2 jobs. Or pay that much. I agreed that would not be fair to ask to my parents for help. I’m an adult now.

I made the joke my mom can just pay for the whole wedding I’m planing it to be under $5000max. And she can put $5,000 in our bank account and save herself alot of money vs what my aunt doing.
my cousin has be given everything her whole life. The job she had when she was a teen was for her to just have spending money. But my aunt also has a son that in her eye can do no right. He has had bumpy life when it comes to school but has never been in trouble with the law. He will get nothing for his wedding I bet. ( hes 21 years old now)
I should add my cousin hubby to be’s parents won’t let them life together before they say I DO or rent. So after the wedding they will be moving in with my aunt and uncle til they find a house to buy.
