Well you have plenty of time to find a dress. I think as long as you stick in the pastel tones you’ll be fine. Good luck!
*brakes screeching* You want to wear converse to a wedding? HELL NO! Even if it’s a casual wedding, that won’t be appropriate. Here are some pretty dresses that I found on Kohls.com that you can wear with sandals, flats or pumps depending on what you feel most comfortable in:

Wear a nice dress and heels. Something like this would be cute:
If it’s a very informal wedding, wear a skirt and a nice top.
If you can’t walk in heels, then wear dressy flats:
