Any Ideas for a honeymoon in October?

I am planning a honeymoon for early October and I need ideas on where to go.
My fiancee and I are a very young couple (23 & 24). the ideal destination would have a great nightlife, lots of attractions, and a romantic asoecrs as well.
We do not want to go outside the U.S. Any suggestions would help.
How about Niagara Falls. It is noted for the Falls but it is well known for honeymooners as well.
Funny – I was thinking Niagra Falls – since it is a popular honey moon destination
Depending on what you like though – other options could be up in a cabin somewhere- Big Bear, Aspen, Denver – or for a more quaint feel with a city near by you could try Julian in California – or anywhere on the East Coast. I hear Vermont is nice.
Also, San Francisco areas – like Monteray – have AWESOME bed and breakfasts – not to far from Napa for romance and wine tasting – but great night life.
