On November 27, 2010, Rizwan & Meral held their reception at the oceanside Marina Del Rey Marriot. This was the second day of our shoot. The day before we covered their Nikkah and Mendhi. I had the pleasure of working again with Yogi Patel from Global Photography. As always I enjoy working with a talented photographer, together we were able to create some great images. The guest arrived at 7:00 in the evening for the cocktail hour. As they enjoyed the appetizers, they had a beautiful view of the city skyline. Yogi Patel, from Sheer Romance, beautifully turned their ballroom into the perfect setting for the bride and groom to enter. After the speeches, their friends and family organized some enjoyable recreations of how Meral and Rizwan met, the guest enjoyed seeing these humorous reenactments. We shot this reception with two Canon 5D Mark II DSLR cameras with five lenses per camera, glidecam, slider and multiple tripods. We delivered a 7 minute highlight reel along with a 80 minute long reel of the entire event. This was a customized package for the client.
