How to formally invite people you look up to, to be godparents in your wedding?

My friend is getting married in a couple of months and i am her maid of honor. ;-D She wants to formalize her invitation to people she looks up to to be her godparents in her wedding via an invitation letter. Any tips on how to properly word it? Thanks.
Thanks to those who have already shared, the letter invitation is just an extra touch, she is definitely meeting them in person to make it more personal. But just to add, my friend needs specific wordings to use in the invitation. pls. help ;-)
any websites that can help me with this? thanks ;-)

Damaged roof, insurance claim?

Forgive me but this is our first house. We had a hail storm that took off 40% of our shingles. We made an insurance claim. The adjuster included the roof damage (about 1450 sqft; it is an old roof 10 to 12 years, in sound shape during our purchase inspection, some minor hail damamge from previous storms, but sturdy) a fallen tree and damaged fence, and the trim on the outside of the house on the sides that the storm hit.

The adjuster evaluated the damage at $5300.00 After our deductable (2000) we are getting a check for a little over $400, and they are holding back $2900.

Q1. Does that mean that the estimated cost to repair (in their eyes) is roughly $5300 or less, or do they take what they estimate the repairs will cost, then depriciated them them to 5300? (we pay extra to have replacement cost value on our policy- does that apply to the roof).

Q2. If all of the repairs cost more than what the adjuster allocated, can we negotiate with the insurance company for the difference?

Q3. when do we get the holdback amount (i am assuming after we do the repairs and have a total cost).

I am going to call our agent, but she is out of the office until Wed.

thank you
